She's right tho, if Yakone was killed instead this war Amon started would never have happened.

Now don't get me wrong here I'm not calling Aang a wuss or anything, I totally respect his decision to stand by his morals throughout his entire life. But the fact that Yakone was pretty much the source of the war in Republic City makes me think, what would happen if Aang DID go ahead and kill him? Repulic city would certainly be a different place that's for sure! Here are a few things I think would be different:

-Without Tarrlock there to manipulate the council so easily I believe Tenzin would have a more powerful position in the council.

-Obviously there would be no equalists.

-Sato would not be such a jerk under Amon's vengeful influence, he would never even think to consider killing his own daughter.

-Would Korra still run off to Republic City? I'm honestly not entirely sure of this, but I like to think she still would. Being sheltered her whole life she would be eager to go see what's out there.

THAT'S ALL I GOT, what do you guys think would be different? 8)

This is on tumblr now too btw: [link]

it was during a peasant uprising the lower class citizens thought the earth king had outlived his purpose, they stormed he upper ring and destroyed many artifacts, Kyoshi was summoned by the king to squash the peasants but she refused to do so, the king ordered his guards to arrest her but she overpowered them, she then convinced the king to hear the peasants out and listen to their grievances and in exchange she would create a group to protect the cultural heritage of the great city, they became known as the Dai-li!

Kyoshi failed to see she was basically creating a secret police for the earth kingdom, Ba-sing Sei is a city unlike any other where walls keep people apart and only the law defenders the Dai-li went through the walls, as we've seen many times in Last Airbender and recently in Korra if one controls the Dai-li they control Ba-Sing-sei and in extension the Earth Kingdom that's because if one controls the law enforcers of the city they essentially control what is "right" in the city, whatever the Dai-li do is "right" in Ba-sing sei things like hiding century old wars or kidnapping air benders for armies.
